Winmark Corporation Announces Appointment

Minneapolis, MN (September 7, 2005) -- Winmark Corporation (Nasdaq: WINA) announced the appointment of Leah A. Goff to the position of Vice President of Human Resources. Ms. Goff joined Winmark in 1995 and assumed full responsibility for Human Resources in 1997. Commenting on these promotions, President and Chief Operating Officer, Stephen. M. Briggs stated, “Ms. Goff has consistently demonstrated her leadership in the human resources area. This appointment adds to the strength of Winmark’s senior management team.”
